Why is my prediction a range?
Cycles vary, so Ovanest shows the days your period or fertile window is likely to fall on, with how confident it is. With irregular cycles or PCOS the range is wider on purpose. Logging each period start makes the range tighter over time.
My cycles changed after a birth, a loss or stopping the pill
Go to You › Something changed. Ovanest keeps your history but stops using older cycles for predictions.
My reminders aren't arriving
- Check that notifications are allowed for Ovanest in your phone’s settings.
- If you use a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode, allow Ovanest in it.
- Open Ovanest from time to time so it can schedule upcoming reminders.
The app lock asks for my passcode instead of Face ID
Face ID is probably turned off for Ovanest. Go to Settings › Ovanest › Face ID on your iPhone and turn it on.
How do I back up, or move to a new phone?
Go to You › Back up, choose a passphrase and save the encrypted file somewhere safe, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive. On the new phone, go to You › Restore from backup and choose that file. With Ovanest Plus, automatic backup saves a copy after you log, and Ovanest offers to restore it when it first opens on the new phone.
Keep your passphrase somewhere safe. We never see it, so we can’t recover it or open a backup without it.
How do I start pregnancy mode?
Go to You › I’m pregnant and enter your due date, the first day of your last period or your conception or transfer date. Pregnancy mode is free for everyone. When your pregnancy ends you can switch to the weeks after birth or back to cycle tracking.
How do I make a report for my doctor?
Go to You › Doctor report, check the preview and share the PDF. It lists what you logged and never interprets it. It’s free.
Restoring Ovanest Plus
Open You › Ovanest Plus and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account or Google account you subscribed with.
Cancelling Ovanest Plus
On iPhone, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
How do I delete my data?
Go to You › Delete all data, or delete the app. Backup files you saved elsewhere stay until you delete them. See the Ovanest privacy supplement.
Which languages does Ovanest support?
English and Hindi. The doctor report is always in English so any doctor can read it.
Ovanest is for wellness and personal record keeping. It is not a medical device, is not for contraception and does not diagnose any condition. Talk to your doctor or midwife about anything medical.
