Privacy supplement
PillTail Privacy
This supplement to the TenacityHQ Privacy Policy covers what is specific to PillTail. Effective 27 September 2026.
What PillTail stores, and where
Everything you enter stays on your iPhone: pet names, species and photos, medications and schedules, and the history of doses given, skipped or missed, including skip reasons and any edits you make. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, this data is included in that backup the same way as other app data; Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy.
What PillTail does not collect
We don’t collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or pet information. PillTail has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking SDKs, and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites. Apple’s privacy label for PillTail is “Data Not Collected”.
Pet photos
Photos are chosen through the system photo picker. PillTail only receives the photos you pick, and they stay on your device.
Notifications
Dose reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They are not sent through any server.
Purchases
PillTail Plus is sold by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple only tells the app whether a subscription is active.
Ratings
PillTail may occasionally show Apple’s standard rating prompt. Your rating goes to Apple, not to us.
Vet reports
PDF reports are created on your device and are shared only if you choose to share them, for example by email or AirDrop.
Deleting your data
Delete a pet in the app to remove it with all its medications and history. Deleting the app removes all its data from your device.
Children
PillTail does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
