My reminders aren't arriving

  • Open Settings › Notifications › PillTail and make sure Allow Notifications and Time Sensitive Notifications are on.
  • If you use a Focus mode, allow PillTail or Time Sensitive notifications in that Focus.
  • Open PillTail at least once every few days so it can schedule upcoming reminders.

Can I mark a dose from the notification?

Yes. Press and hold (or pull down on) the reminder to see Given and Skip. This works without opening the app, even from the lock screen.

Why does Skip ask for a reason?

So your history, and your vet, know why a dose was missed. Pick Vomited, Refused it, Vet advised or Ran out, or type your own.

I marked the wrong dose

Tap Undo right after marking. For an older record, open the pet’s History, tap the dose and choose Change record. PillTail keeps a note of the edit so your records stay trustworthy.

Restoring PillTail Plus

Open PillTail, tap the gear icon on the Today screen, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

Cancelling PillTail Plus

Tap the gear icon, then Manage subscription, or go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Where is my data? What if I delete the app?

Your data lives only on your iPhone. It is included in your normal iPhone or iCloud device backup, but deleting the app deletes its data from the phone. See the PillTail privacy supplement.

Is PillTail available in my country?

PillTail is coming to the App Store in most countries. It is not yet available in the European Union or mainland China.
